Crete The Island of Crete, a small island located on the peninsula of Greece, an empire in it's own right - Ever since the gods blessings, though, things have changed. In Greek history, it is said the Cretan Bull was either the bull that carried away Europa or the bull Pasiphaë fell in love with, giving birth to the Minotaur. Theseus, a man who competed in games held by Aegeus, King of Athens, was who was said to slay it. Heracles was once sent to capture the bull by Eurystheus as his seventh task. He sailed to Crete, whereupon the King, Minos, gave Heracles permission to take the bull away and offered him assistance, which Heracles denied because of pride, as it had been wreaking havoc on Crete by uprooting crops and leveling orchard walls. As one can see, even this island has many a history related to the gods.	0	0
Rhodes An even smaller island then Crete, located in the east Aegean Sea. A Castle, known as the Palace of the Grand Master is located on this island, and many battles between the states of Greece have been known to occur here. Myth stood in for blanks in the historical record. In Pindar's ode, the island was said to be born of the union of Helios the sun god and the nymph Rhode, and the cities were named for their three sons. The rhoda is a pink hibiscus native to the island. Diodorus Siculus added that Actis, one of the sons of Helios and Rhode, travelled to Egypt. He built the city of Heliopolis and taught the Egyptians the science of astrology.	0	0
Republic of Macedonia The mighty empire of Macedonia, a place where greats of the past such as "Alexander the Great" among others were born - It is a desolate place, filled with little else beyond Forests and Valleys. A cast off state from Greece, few with the blessing of the gods would inhabit this region.	0	0

Ptolemaic Egypt Taken over by the great General Alexander, this land, to the west of Greece, is a province far off from Greece itself - At the death of Alexander, his main Lieutenant, Ptolemy, was said to of taken over and ruled this land. Many from the west come to Greece in hopes of seeing a better world, but not only will their people be caught in this rising of the Gods... but Egypt has god's of their own...	0	0
Eastern Lands The lands East of Greece. Many from the Asian side of the content travel from here to the Great City of Athens, in the hope of making prosperous Trades and Lucrative business deals with the Senate. Perhaps even a few easterners may get caught up in the current unrest...	0	0
