Coronet Pub/Inn

Various machines humming and buzzed as they went about doing what they were programmed to do. Similarly the people went on, talking, laugh, eating, working or whatever they came here to do. It was always busy, never really a dull moment, unless everyone was sleeping. Among all the hustle and bustle was a certain blacked haired boy. He went by the name of Torch and that's all anyone about here ever called him. People the came and went tried to guess his name, all of which were wrong but he made quite the stack if cash that way.

Torch enjoying dealing in his fair share of games of chance. At this every moment he was at the bar counter striking up a game with two men that had happen to pass through, one young then other quite a bit older. Both men set their money one the counter, as a statement that they were ready to play. The game was simple, three cups and one blue seed, one just need to find the cup with the seed under it. He smiled widely as his fast hands slide the cups along the counter twitching up their place too quickly for the men's eyes to follow. With a quick hand he removed to seed altogether.

"Now, who wants to go first?"

"Oh me! I know exactly where it is."

The younger one blurted out confidently. The older man just shook his head and said nothing. He pointed to the cup on the far right. Torch lifted the cup up slowly, to revile nothing but emptiness, he just smiled and shrugged at the man, a gesture that said better luck next time. He left the cup turned upwards then nodded to the older man with a sly grin on his face.

"50/50 chance, I'd say those are good odds."

The older man tapped the middle cup, his face a little more than skeptical as if he already knew the game was fixed. The little trickster tipped the cup back and of course there was no seed under there either. He lifted the last cup, he knew they'd ask to look under it anyway, using a little slide of hand to slip the seed under it unnoticed. Torch took a hold of the men's money then politely handed it back to each of them. They stared back at him confused, they both had lost but didn't lose their money, they didn't add up quite right. Of course it didn't, it was all part of one of his tricks.

"The first game's always free, my friends."

He winked at the both of them, a boyish charm that always lured in the customers. He'd get them hooked on playing his various games of chance and swindle them out their money eventually. It was always like that, the games were fun and he was quite the charmer, in the end no one would end up too angry about losing. Torch had yet to meet his match when it came to gaming but he looked forward to that day. The trickster played with the two men until they had somehow managed to bet their ship on an all or nothing game. In the end out of pity he let them keep their ship along with giving back half the money he had won from them.

2 Parsecs away from Corellia, Cloud's small escort ship (about the size of a Corellian Corvette) was closing in on Coruscant where his trial would be held after his patrol was suspisciously killed. The aura that had engulfed him on Hoth had not gone away. It was like a whisper in the back of his mind; it was evil and he could feel it coursing through his veins.

He finally snapped, he decided to leave the Galactic Republic Armed Forces and forge a new path. He began to slaughter the few commanding officers in control of the escort ship headed for Coruscant. He managed to kill a soldier and take his standard issue stun baton; his stun slash combination was used to its utmost effectiveness. He couldn't hold them off forever so he retreated to the escape pods. He managed to jam the doors just after shooting an over zealous soldier that pursued him.

Now over Corellia, he descended at a high speed. The heated escape pod entering the atmosphere was red with such a high temperature that it began to engulf in fire. It eventually crashed on the far side of the planet.

On the surface, Cloud knew he didnt have alot of time. The ship wouldve already had contact with the the local law enforcement. It was a miracle that they had not been all over him at the very moment he exited the pod. Still weary he ran into a bar; torn up and beaten he needed refuge.

"Help me! Please can you concielle me?"

Torch looked up from the dish he had been cleaning and locked eyes with the alien that just ran in. He unconsciously rub at his left eye, the one he couldn't see out of. well it couldn't hurt to help he thought. As much as he cheated and sweet talked people out of their belongings he did have somewhat of a soft spot. Torch walked around the bar and out to were the alien was then held out his had to help him up.

"You can stay here but you'll have to earn your keep."

He was sure the owner wouldn't mind an extra pair of working hands. Not that owner was ever around to check on things, Torch practically ran the place on his own. He nodded to another worker that had been mopping up the floor, telling her to take over the bar while he was gone. He took this time to apprise this person he was going to let stay here. It was obvious he had been through some rough times, but was he a criminal or a victim of crime. In time Torch would find out.

"Follow me, please."

He smiled brightly at the man before turning and heading up stairs to where the rooms were. It was quite easy for Torch to gain the trust of another, that's how he made his living really. Creating false trust between him and others. He knew it was better to trust no one at all. He led the alien to a room next to his, one the far in the back. He opened the door and politely gestured him in with a wave of his hand and a smile. Leaning against the door frame after his guest had entered the boy would give him a quick run down of what to do for the time being

"Get yourself rested and cleaned up. Take all the time you need getting ready. By the way do you have a name?"

Seth walked in, his tentacles and face covered by a dark mask - this wouldn't be atypical for those 'non-aliens' to see, and Seth adopted it to hide his facial features.. his distorted look. Seth strolled over to the bar and slammed his fist on it as he sat down, his dark aura was practically non-existant.. Something Seth had learnt to do when he underwent intense Sith Assassin training, as one of the Elite masters of the sub-order.

"The lack of service here is appalling." Seth snarled from beneath his mask, wiping his dark brown robes with the back of his turquoise hand. "I grow impatient." Seth stood, and simply moved over to the back room where they were, pacing to the door way - Seth did adopt a shakey fashion.. As though he was drunk maybe? Or extremely doped up on certain drugs.. Looking like a common homeless or poor drunk in coronet.

"Yeah, tell him your name." Seth grinned widely, though his face was beneath his mask - the movement of the mask was an obvious sign he was grinning. "Come on, no service here? Do you tend to the helpless fools now? If that's the case, i want the treatment too." Seth was putting on quite the act, though most would expect that of an undercover person to remain in the shadows.. Seth was making himself quite well known already.. But the trick was, that he'd become well known as the 'town drunk' as it were, rather than as some mysterious figure.

"But seriously.." Seth slid his hand down to the hilt of his sword, a long silver blade that hung on a belt just inside his outer robing, "I hate waiting."

Seth grinned at them, awaiting a reply.

The Cerean followed the barkeep to the back hoping for shelter. He needed to get out of this officer's uniform, he was no longer Officer Cadet. Adi Cloud. He was simply Cloud now just Adi Cloud. He rested in the back for a while before he decided to clean up his minor wounds and put on the clothes worn by employees here. He hid his vibroblade, stun baton, and custom blaster in a locker near by.

"Excuse me, I need someone to show me the ropes. I have to work to stay and to eat no? Well Im ready to hold my own weight. Im a quick learner just show me the basics."

"One moment friend, I will show you all you need to learn after I take care of him."

Torch turned his head completely to face the man since he was standing at his left, his obvious blind spot. He took a shot gaze at the inpatient fellow, taking in all the details of his form. The mask made him seem a bit off putting to the boy, and the sword at his hip only gave him more reason to think so. Trust no one, it was his life motto and so far it's been keeping him alive and well. While placing his hand on top of the man's, urging him to move it from the hilt ever so gently, he put on a charming smile.

"Please, do not make any trouble. You have my fullest attention now."

His tone was light and caring, his eyes were less than cheery though. Making deliberate eye contact with the strange man, it was easy to make out the suspicion, and yet there was a hint of fear but also determination that laid under the thin layer of false guile. Torch didn't try to hide anything he was feeling he was just being as polite as he possible could. Even if he did find the man intimidate he wouldn't back down until he was insured that there would be no violence. His smile never wavered as he spoke in the same tone as before.

"Now, what is it that I can do for you sir? What kind of treatment are you in need of?"

"Treatment! Ha!" Seth started laughing, though his laugh was extremely croaky from beneath his rebreathing mask. Seth continued laughing when he felt a hand on his shoulder, a quite large fellow who had asked Seth to leave, pity.

"Oh?.." Seth turned his head and noticed most of the other patrons at the bar had left, except this one brave man. Seth grinned, when he knew it'd be to make a move. In a matter of seconds, Seth had moved with intense pace to around the back of the man, under his flailing arm that had gone to hit him. This big fellow was then hit, one.. Two.. Three times before he was flung across the room and out of Seth's way, it was obvious Seth was very well trained, yet in what form? He held a sword, and could fight unarmed as well as most of the Jedi masters who taught the students over in the academy.

Seth stretched, and cracked his back. "This is simple, i want him." Seth pointed, straight past the boy who stood before him, one who would be easily dispatched if it would come down to it. "Though.. I doubt i have much need of him now.. Due to, what i've just discovered." Seth smiled, and it was a strange smile, like he'd just figured something out.

In an instant Seth flicked his leg up to meet this young boy's face, it wasn't very powerful - but his speed was dramatic, Seth knew he practically wouldn't be able to dodge the blow - it was what the boy did after that he was looking for. Nevertheless, Seth would admire him.

Cloud watched as the patrons fled as the man stood up acknowledging only him. The mans presence seemed familiar; like they met in a dream. He still had never seen such a person. This was besides the point because Cloud was a target for something. Who could it be? A bounty hunter? A republic emissary? A surviving officer from the transport? Could the republic have acted so fast? He had to figure out who this was and what he wanted.

"We have never met stranger. I would say Im not looking for trouble, but by the feel of the situation you probably wouldnt care." Cloud turned his attention the helpful bartender, "I am sorry for the inconvience; Ill try to take car of this."

Cloud began by picking up a bar stool and throwing at the masked man. After this he went into a front summersalt roll and would try to land a punch to the mid section.

Torch slowly turned is head tearing his gaze from the man that was just flung across the room. It wasn't quite that unexpected, he already had a feeling that the masked man would be an issue. Now he knew the man was an problem and he'd be a fool to try to handle him with brute force. Just as he was about to address said man something hit his face. He stumbled back two steps not from the force of them blow but by surprise alone. A hand, an elbow, a foot, a knee he didn't know what he was hit by something. His snapped at the masked man in a glare.

"Did you just-"

His sentence stopped shot as he caught a bar stool that whizzed though air. It was a reflex reaction it took him a slit second to realized he actually had the stool in his hands. His body was automatically on the defensive now. Torch need to calm himself and do it quickly. He hit the stool over the other man's back hopefully halting his attack at least a little bit.

"Enough! Now listen I don't care what history two have with each other but we will settle this in a civilized way. Do you understand?"

The words seethed out of his mouth in a sort of half hissing yell. His eyes ablaze with an inner fury, his body trembling from the sudden rush of adrenaline in his system. He would not allow this to happen. No he will sure there was no fights here. Not in his bar, this was a respectable place. Of course he's stand no chance at all against both of them, but this really needed to stop and very soon.

He ponder on the situation for a shot moment as he calmed himself slowly. The alien must be worth something. Maybe if he negotiated right he could selling him off the the other man. He already has a bit of doubt about his new employee. He was sure the man must be some type of criminal now. Torch didn't work himself about this small patch of bad luck.

"How about we play a simple game? If I win you leave peacefully but..."

He gestured to the masked man.

"If you win, you still leave but take one thing you want, from this bar, with you."

His eyes slide over to the alien man, watching him silently. For all the trouble he brought along with him, Torch almost hoped he lost this game. Just almost. His pride wouldn't allow himself to take a dive. He'll just have to see what will happen. Hopefully his good luck was kicking back in.

Seth grinned, and his eyes widened as he pressed his hands up to his mask. "If i win, i take what i want with me?.." His eyes flicked around from behind the the lens' in the rebreather. "I see.." His mask clicked off, with a little hiss of air it fell off of his face and onto the floor, rolling away from his feet slightly. Seth continued by moving his hands to his side.

"I'm all for that.." Seth said, with a slight grin that tugged at either side of his lips. He placed his hands in front of his and took a deep breath, focusing his force energy into his hands and mind. Seth glanced over to Cloud, and then back to Torch.. This boy was interesting, and Seth grew quite fond of him.. Of course he'd have to be broken, but this'd be quite simple to do for the Dark Lord.

"Let us begin." Seth said, before putting his hand to his face and rubbing his jaw, what Torch wouldn't know.. Was that Seth was actually getting a feel for his Aura, his very essence of life. His feelings, his emotion.. All of it would become known to Seth in a matter of seconds.. Seth had a plan, and a good one at that - considering they had no idea he was an extremely powerful force user, a Sith.. Or that he planned to take Torch with him once this was finished, and make use of Cloud as well.

"I'll abide by your little game, though if i really wanted.. You pathetic fools - i could destroy the both of you within seconds.. Begin. Now."

"Seth...."

The voice came from everywhere and nowhere - At the same time, as if the present was mummified, and frozen. Seth would hear Tarri through the force - And he was close. How close? High above Coronet, Tarri flew his stolen ship, cutting through the lanes, only to fly by Coronet, and pass over it. He whipped the ship around, before using the force to convey his thoughts.... Centerpoint Station.

"Meet... me..."

Was all he would hear, as Tarri dipped down low, and swung back up, shooting back up toward space, and heading for Centerpoint. It was under strict guard, of course, any planet destroying weapon would be... But Centerpoint... would belong to them.

"Oh, I can believe that sir."

A cherry smile on his face though there was a slight distaste in his mouth. This game of his could be the simplest of them. He grabbed his gaming cups and a fist full of seeds before he walked back to the nearest table setting them down on the surface. He picked up on particular yellow seed, on which a number etched on the back in micro lettering, then picked up a few more as if he was trying to decide which to use.

"Find this seed."

He held up the first on he had picked from the pile. Torch held it in he right hand between his thumb and middle finger. A tactic he picked up awhile ago, showing off the seed while displaying his lack of certain index finger. Most were usually too distracted by his hand to pat close attention to the seed in question.

He slid it under on of the over tuned cup and started to rotate their positions. If one looked closely, they would notice a tiny power switch on each of the cups. Strange but there's were Torch's favorite playing cups so there had to be some trick about them. He clicked each of them, while doing so He slipped a number of blue seed under each cup, he hand movement usually remained unseen, be Torch wouldn't have been surprised his this strange man had seen everyone one of his movements. He made his last move deliberately slow, it being painfully obvious that he had just removed a yellow seed from under a cup.

"Now, pick out the seed."

He lifted up all of the cups yellow seeds spilling out from each on to the table. The seed were UV light reactive. Always turning yellow once hit with the light. That was what those switches were for, turning the lights in the cups on and off.
Torch crossed his arms and smiled charmingly at the other, though he was keeping a close eye on him, almost expecting his hand to reach out and grab the correct one without even thinking about it.

Seth grinned, having watched and anticipated each movement.. He was in his head after all - and at this point he'd make his move, with his right hand - he began to move it around himself, turning his head away from what was occurring in front of him with Torch. "Very well.. Make it easy for me." Seth slowly began to remove attachments on each of the bulky robes, allowing them to fall away and land on the ground - until he did the same to the sword at his sheathe.

"Ah.." Seth cracked his back as he let out a sigh, quite a few moments had passed where he'd still not picked the seed he wanted.. Though the robes had been cast-off and what would be frightening to anybody in the area was the colour.. The essence it gave off. Seth was wearing lightweight Sith Armour, personally tailored and engraved with various Sith Scriptures, the armour was alchemically treated in order to maximise his force output, though he wouldn't really need to use it here.

Seth slowly outstretched his palm, in the direction of Torch and the seeds - after he'd taken a step back of course.. And slowly, the correct seed simply floated from where it was, through the air to Seth's palm - where he closed it and held it in his hand.

"Simple." His voice reigned down, like it was being cast out by some invisible force. "Simple indeed.. Now i believe i get my wish.. Though i want the both of you.. I'll return for the other alien once he has healed."

Seth cast his arm over Torch, in which his essence was focused directly into his neurotransmitters and receptors, locking them over.. A force stun was placed over Torch, but Seth didn't finish and continued to lock in this effect until it was placed as a force stasis. Right now, this was unresistable to Torch - but in the near future, with the help of Seth.. Torch would undergo the intense training he once undertook.

"You're with me." Seth grasped the motionless torch by the neck and simply walked out and onto his transport craft with him, placing him on a seat and taking off to his capital ship which was somewhere in the system.

Cloud ran into the back to grab his equipment. He grabbed his stun baton, custom blaster, and vibroblade from the locker in the back. He suited up and ran out of the bar to pursue the masked man that seemed so familiar. He managed to watch both of them enter a transport and in response he bursted in.

"Stop!!! Were not done yet, you and I."

Torch watched this man a slight uneasiness coming over him. He didn't quite understand it before but as the robes fell to the floor, it all clicked. A Sith. Every fiber in his being screamed at him to get as far away as possible, but he didn't want to leave. He was fascinated now. In this moment Torch was truly caught by surprise, which was a rare event for him.

He unconsciously leaned forward as Seth gave a slight display of his skill with the force. The danger bells in his head were ringing and his instincts raging all telling him to get away. His instincts they were always always the defining things in his life that put a gap between life and death. For this first time he defied his instincts and stayed put. A possible mistake. The boy hadn't heard a word that was said to him.

His eyes followed Seth's hand his muscles tensing as if he was getting ready to make a break for it. Torch could feel his body locking up, his heart began to race so fast he felt it would beat out his chest. He let out a deep breath as best as he could in his state, dramatically slowing and calming himself in that short time. Yes, Torch made it essential in his life to stay calm. Trust nothing but your instance and remain calm. So far he had broken one of his life rules, he wouldn't dear break the other. He could feel himself drifting further away from consciousnesses. The vaguely heard someone scream as he was carried away to who knows where.

Seth halted when the man spoke, and the very essence he would give off would shatter the wills of all the frightened civilians who were coming round.. Along with a male Jedi Knight who'd been sent over to him and was also screaming at him. "Cloud, i'll be back for you.. For now - please regain your strength. You'll need it." Seth released his grip on torch before spinning and gliding through the air, in a sort of acrobatic motion - over the Jedi.

Before the Jedi even had time to draw his lightsaber, Seth had simply turned with his legs outstretched in the air, and wrapped them around the mans neck - he span at an extreme speed, before landing at his feet. But when Seth landed, the man's motion didn't stop, and he was sent flailing into the hull of his ship. It was surprising that this Jedi's neck hadn't been broken.

Seth grinned, before taking a deep breath and bringing his arms back. What would be noted was the corrosive Aura that would seemingly throw Cloud's will off, before Seth started slamming his palms forwards and firing pure dark energy at the Jedi, Dark force blasts. Seth's hands were peeling, and burning - but Seth wasn't making any motion when it did, he couldn't feel it. These dark blasts simply destroyed and reduced the Jedi to nothing but a pile of meat.

Seth looked over to Cloud, before waving his arm in his direction while he was on his ship - this wave sent a massive load of energy at him, a force wave that would send him flying backwards and off of the ship as it's engines started.

"Now, allow me to leave Cloud. Or i will allow another to destroy you in a much worse way." Seth continued by grabbing Torch and moving into his ship, the back hatch closed and he flew up to his capital ship.

Cloud watched the masked man completely and utterly decimate a Jedi Knight with both impossible acrobatics and an intense blast of dark energy. Before Cloud could wipe the shocked look off of his face he was blown off the ship by a force he could not see; he could feel, hear, and taste it. He landed on his back sending pain atop his minor injuries. He dare not pull out his blaster; this man was too powerful for him. He was too powerful for an army. Before he fainted he spoke to himself.

"Too vast."
